BREAKUP COACH

The concept of enough has been on my mind a lot. I think because for me and so many of my clients it feels like a labyrinth that I keep exploring with my own set of kooky, friendly creatures. (anyone else a fan of the David Bowie movie The Labyrinth??)

One of my old stories is that I’m not enough and all the ways I hustle to try to prove that.

I recently had another layer of awareness come up around it and telling my story is bringing some big attention because it resonates. I wanted to share it with you in case it resonates with you too.

Last year I did Kate Northrup’s course Relaxed Money. As the course ended, Kate offered a contest for us to share our stories. I immediately judged myself and my results as “not good enough” and didn’t think anything else of it.

But then, I felt tempted by the prizes she was offering (yup, I’m easily incentivized by a good prize!) and decided that it was a good exercise for me to evaluate the last year.

I sat down and wrote all the differences I saw in the money I made last year and the great experiences I had. And they were pretty good. “Not too shabby,” I thought to myself and thought about making a video around share. But I put it off because I decided my story wasn’t compelling enough to win the contest.

Then I did my taxes.

Usually a dreadful experience for anyone. But I discovered that my coaching business met the goal I set for myself last year and I didn’t even realize it. My goal had been to replace my day job income with my coaching business.

And there it was. In black and white:

I made $1100 more in my coaching business than I did in my day job.

I actually passed my goal.

And I didn’t even realize it because I kept telling myself I wasn’t making enough, doing enough, good enough. But there it was, as clear as the robin sitting among the daffodils outside my window.

Just like robins and daffodils are a sign of spring, my taxes proved I was stepping into a new paradigm. No longer would I tell myself I wasn’t enough. I was enough. I need to shift my perspective and remember that I’m enough.

These are tools I learned from Kate. It’s one thing to know the tools and it’s another to practice them. This breakthrough inspired me to make a simple, straightforward video of my story.

And wouldn’t you know it, I’m a finalist!! You can still join Kate’s free workshop Good with Money where she will share my video and others! Sign up here to learn these powerful tools from Kate and she will share my video: https://thefreefam.ontraport.net/t?orid=156345&opid=162

These tools helped raise my awareness around the habits that can build ease and comfort around money so that I feel confident and good with money. And I’m still in my journey. But it all starts with becoming aware of what’s not working.

SARAH CURNOLES LIFE COACH A lot of people have been talking to me recently about setbacks and backslides they’ve been having. So I wanted to share my coaching that I gave them. People are noticing they’re going back to old ways of being. Whether that’s missing their ex and wanting to call them, feeling hopeless and purposeless, or eating, drinking, or doing anything to numb all their feelings. Here’s the coaching I gave to them: Nothing is wrong. You’re experiencing the “one step back” part...

SARAH CURNOLES LIFE COACH Hi there Reader, A client told me she was so tired of being the Fixer in her family. People came to her with all their problems and expected her to solve it. She was smart and resourceful and loved being needed. But she needed her family to be there for her, too, and they weren’t reciprocating. She was exhausted. She wanted to be really seen, heard, and known by her family. She wanted to set some boundaries so she could reclaim a sense of peace in her life. And she...

SARAH CURNOLES LIFE COACH Hiya Reader, I want to tell you a story about how powerful a morning routine can be. I recently did an experiment where I got rid of all my morning routines. I stopped working out. I stopped meditating (mostly, that one was hard to let go of), I stopped journaling. I kept brushing my teeth and drinking water, obviously. I was feeling disconnected from my routine and I wasn't sure if my routine was actually helping me or if it was just checking items off a To Do list...
